City view in Lady Diana Hotel
First of all, the location is within 10 minutes walk of the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and a key tram line to get around town. Now don't get upset with the gritty feel of the street where the hotel is located, ignore that, just get over it. Two minutes walk and you're in the thick of things. The cheap rooms are like $90 USD per night and include breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, the morning food offering caters to both European and local tastes and is a great way to start your day. The staff are beyond kind... The breakfast area is on the sixth floor in the Grace rooftop Restaurant, with outstanding views of the Bosphorus Strait, The Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia !!! Again, all this for $90 USD per night in early November. Would definitely stay again for 2-3 days. PS the 6th floor restaurant has decent dinner food and that million Lira view of the Blue Mosque lit up at night.

Clean towels every day Good bouffet breakfast and offers variety with the warm food changed every day: spicy boiled eggs, omlette, burek, pancakes, grilled eggplant and zucchini, fries, pasta, turkish sausage Bed sheating changed every 2 or 3 days Free water every day in the room Location is excellent Room like in the photos Spa right in the hotel at the ground floor Very beautiful view from the restaurant Adjustabe room temperature Very helpful staff Soundproofing quite good, barely any noise from the hallway, no noise from rooms Very quiet street Small fridge that does not make any noise

In general, everything was quite satisfactory. I particularly appreciate how the trend towards European standards is making its way into Turkey. This is evident in the introduction of contactless payments and a reduction in the chances of encountering service provider deception. As for the hotel, there are no significant remarks to be made. It was pleasing to see that the staff was diligent in assisting guests and exhibited a high level of friendliness. The rooms were impeccably clean and surprisingly spacious for Istanbul standards.

The breakfast spread was really fantastic and the location of the property was truly exceptional - just off the main thoroughfare and a 1-minute walking distance to the tramways & metro. Some of the major historical sites were just 2 - 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel also had a digital weighing machine for your luggage and also a bag wrapping service, during check-out.

This hotel is located right next to the square. The hotel staff was very polite and friendly. My request to shift the arrival date was welcomed and even i was offered an upgrade to the deluxe room. The roof top restaurant had astonishing views of old Istanbul and breakfast was awesome. It is definitely a must stay place in my list for future trips.
